Milky Way Espresso Blend

Our mainstay espresso blend that hits that Goldilocks zone of coffee - not too bitter, not too sour, but just right. Smooth, syrupy and sweet.

The 2022 version is a 3 bean blend:

75% Guatemala Asodiett Txol X'ag
Don't ask us to pronounce that But this coffee, from Huehuetenango, is the killer base for our blend. A mix of different varietals from the Asodiett Coop, a group of about 30 producers who banded together to improve their coffee quality. The washed coffee gives us all those hazelnut and chocolate vibes we love as an espresso base.

15% Honduras Copan

This blend of coffees, from the Coop Cafescor (130 member coop), is Fair Trade, Organic, UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certified. They're doing great things for both the coffee and the community where they grow coffees. This coffee brings us the sweetness we crave in an espresso - we get notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, almond paste and a splash of key lime pie for good measure.

10% Burundi Nemba:

This delicious African coffee comes to us from the Nemba washing station. Nemba uses a monitoring system to ensure traceability all along the production and processing chain. All 3,000+ producers are smallholders who own an average of 150 coffee trees. The farms delivering cherry to Nemba are all located around 1,700+ meters above sea level, near the Kibila forest. This final coffee bring in that beautiful African acidity and fruitiness to the blend.
