This tea is named after the Chinese Goddess of Mercy (Guanyin) and literally translates as Iron Goddess of Mercy. The processing of this tea is complex and requires expertise and as a result was kept secret for many years. One of the most famous oolong teas out there, this delicious tea is grown in China’s Jiangxi Province. Fresh and floral, the aroma alone with make you salivate. We highly recommend steeping this tea at least three times, with each steeping revealing something new about the tea.
