Kenya Mukure

Background Info:

This incredible coffee from Kenya comes to us from the Mukure-Kabare Cooperative Society, which is the coop where these coffees were processed. The cherries come by way of almost 1100 smallholders in the area (near the village of Mukure, in the Kirinyaga region), mainly SL 28 and SL 34 coffees, fully washed and dried on raised African beds for up to 21 days. The coffees are grown at 1800MASL.

This coffee rocked our world on the cupping table, where we got notes of dark fruits (think blackberry and currants), pomegranate and a grapefruit acidity.
