Flavor notes: dark chocolate, orange zest, and peach
We're quickly falling in love with the region of Jerico in Antioquia as it keeps producing knock out coffees. This gem is grown at 1850 masl by Don Felix who pays his pickers a premium to ensure that only the ripe cherries are picked. The coffee is processed on his farm, giving him a tad bit more control over the outcome as well. This kind of care shows up in this seriously fruity cup.
Don Felix is grows Dos Mil and Castillo varietals on his farm among plantain, banana, avocado and pineapple trees. His farm is both 4C and Rainforest Alliance Certified, so we're proud to work with him.
We get all manner of fruit in the cup despite it being a fully washed coffee.
